4POS Loyalty
4POS is proud to announce the development of a new LOYALTY function built into 4POS.
We have decided to Keep It Simple & use the 4POS database to store loyalty functions & balances rather than using a cloud server. This is to reduce the costs & allow customers with limited Internet to also have the same benefits… Furthermore we also decided to use a barcode scanning system to register & identify your customers… Yes, of course you can also simply use the Touch screen or keyboard…

1.

Registration of Loyalty Customers :

1.1. Customers will register at the Point of Sale by scanning a barcode attached to a keyring.

1.2. Cashier will be prompted to enter the Customer’s Name & Mobile Number.

1.3. Once registered, the customer will be able to start earning loyalty points…

2.

Business Loyalty parameters :

2.1. Points starting from value Eg. R100 (Minimum value)

2.2. Minimum redeemable points from Eg. R10

2.3. Points grid to allow multiple points depending on value of SALE

2.4. Points will be rounded down eg. Grid allows 1 point from R100 to R200 - Customer purchases for R175 - Points allocated will be 1 - NOT 1.75 (Should improve upselling)

This 13 digit barcode will be randomly generated by 4POS & able to print on labels or A4

2.5. The Loyalty discount can also be changed from R 1.00 per point to eg. R 0.10 per point (Ideal if you give R10 discount on 100 points…)

3.

The barcode will be inserted into a cheap keyring bought from any store : (Should not cost you more than R1.00 per keyring…)

4.

In the event that a customer loses their barcode, they can replace it by registering / linking a new barcode (Tag) to their name…

5.

Now on the actual sale :

5.1. Cashier to prompt customer whether they have a loyalty barcode tag.

5.2. The sale will be completed as normal & 4POS will print prev points value (Points earned before this sale)

5.3. 4POS to print Points earned in current sale today

5.4. 4POS to print Points & value able to be redeemed. (Only points before the current sale - points become available after a sale)

5.5. 4POS to have option to prompt customer if they wish to redeem the value of the points on this sale or accrue (Add to balance).

5.6. If Points are redeemed, it will be given as a discount on the current sale & the loyalty points cleared. (Only the full value can be redeemed)

6.

In the 4POSBackoffice, reporting added for :

6.1. Number of Loyalty customers

6.2. Loyalty points earned for the period (Sales for registered Loyalty customers)

6.3. Loyalty points / value redeemed for the period (Discount given)
